The new hackers of today

NOTE: There will be negative comments here. These are exaluations, and thus, I should discuss their downside.

So, as I have noticed, there have been quite a few new hackers joining the community. One would think that would be a good thing, but not necessarily. In this thread, I will talk about some of the newer hackers and talk about their skill.

Nomomnomable: IMO, she is one of the more advanced new hackers in the comunity. She can already use Vegas, and her plot is pretty good. The only thing that I think she needs to work on is grammar, but even then, that isn't much of a problem since I've only seen minor errors.

DarkRayX1: Now this is one of my favorite new hackers. He has probably one of the most original plots I have ever seen. He could use animations instead of typing the actions, but that is the only thing that he could work on. He could use grammar, but I'm not going to hold that against him, especially considering he isn't from an English speaking country.

danieltoday: Okay, now honestly, I'm going to be biased on this one. He does have a good logo, but that is the only thing I've found good about his hack. :/

One thing I've noticed is that I find him to be quite... unoriginal. His power is a ripoff of Gold's (Light sword) and Natalie's (Angel wings). His latest OP was basically a meh version of Naruto Shippuden OP9. And finally, I think he has stolen scenes before. On his BDay special for Gold, he showed an S3 clip that seemed a lot like something Andrew uploaded.

His grammar is crap, which is sad because he is from an English speaking area. His animations are also meh.

I want to see this guy improve, I truly do. Honestly, I don't think he will. :/

DarkNeosAngel: This guy is one of the first new hackers that I watched, and he got me hooked right away. He has an interesting plot, and it keeps me guessing on what would happen next. His grammar is meh, but that is all I can think of.

Now, if there are any hackers I didn't mention, or if there is anything you want to add to these evaluations, please do so by posting them in this thread. I will add them to the OP, unless you don't want them added.

EDIT: I made a major mistake. When I said Daniel's latest OP was like a ripoff of Naruto Shippuden OP9, I meant to just put a Naruto OP. I think I put Naruto Shippuden OP9 because that was the song he used. ^^;

To be perfectly honest Nommonable is my FAVORITE new hacker. I dont know if she hacked before but her hacks are amazing. DarkneosAngels hack is good to. The story line has so many questions. DarkRay is great! His hack stroyline is amazing.

Nomomnomable is a completely new hacker. She just has a really good teacher and good friends helping her. XD

In my opinion a lot of the new hackers should of know there mistakes by watching episodes from great hackers and be like "Oh I see what I'm doing wrong" or be more original then making a adventure hack that travels to gyms. Theres a couple of hackers who are good with adventure series but when people who start make them its just bleh...

Brandon, I truly agree with you. Daniel would be the person that has this apply the most because he went 33 eps and 5 ops without getting any advice or improving at all.

This will be of TheUSmellThis. Yup, I already see something bad on the horizon.

TheUSmellThis: Oh gosh, where do I begin? At first, I thought Daniel was the worst new hacker out of the bunch. This must be an overachiever in real life because he proved me wrong!

Let's start with his AWESOME spriting. His sprite itself was a blue recolor of Red. Now wait a minute, haven't I seen that before? I mean, there probably wasn't someone else that used a Blue recolor of Red, right?

Derp. So this guy technically stole a sprite. So that is strike one. His other sprites was a (crappy) recolor of the FR/LG Karate guy. But according to TheShadowRiolu, "... it looks like somebody pissed all over it." Yeah, that isn't a pretty picture, but it is, however, pretty accurate. There is strike two. Sadly, he didn't make a third sprite, but strike three will be coming up.

Next up is his hack itself. Want to know what the plot is? Play Pokemon FR/LG. Seriously, his hack is basically Fire Red and Leaf Green except with some extra dialogue to the games cutscenes (I.E. Oak stopping you from going to the grass since you don't have a pokemon.) and he added a crappy sprite to replace Gary's. Told you strike three was coming up.

Now, this guy also has some hacked pokemon. He starts off with a lv. 13 Magby, which he obtained from Oak. Now, since when do beginning trainers start off with a Magby? Anyway, his rival gets a level 10 Elekid. This guy hacked to win... yeah. Anyway, not only that, but he adds the random battles that weren't planned (Ironic, ain't it?). For example, he added in a battle with a Lv. 3 Rattata that had little to no relevence to the hack or the plot. So this guy has obtained the mystical 4th strike. Let's congratulate him and hope that he improves (which, in his case, shouldn't be very hard).

EDIT: Anyone else notice that I seem to make lengthy paragraphs about what should be worked on and not on what they have done?

My purpose wasn't to bash you. And at one point, you did say you were going to use a light sword as your power, so that was all I had to go by. Honestly, I'm just putting down what I see and what comes to mind. If you feel insulted, then I'm sorry. But you can use that as motivation to get better and get a better evaluation, amirite?

Well my series is more story driven and doesn't focus 100% on Gym battles. But my series does have gym battles xD

yeah I will but yeah theusmellthis is going to be bad and I will never get the chance to get better due to being my little brother and He told me his plot Its perty bad worst then mine but at the time he didnt know who dor was so yeah i made him at least change that and sadly Me and the guy the karate kid in his hack is ment to be made that spirte but it was before I was on youtube and I do have some of a plot in mind but it wont be good till S3.
but the other guy made me do the karkte guy I told him it wont look good
Im planing to use all of the adive you guys gave me and I will ask while Im wrighting this its off topic but dose anyone know A midevil hack game cose I need A midevil map for my Lava series

I know they exist, as I've seen Gold make a hack of it before (it only lasted one Episode, though). There are probably some around, but I'm not sure where they are.

Well you got a plot its not like ok lets go defeat Team Rocket and beat all the gym leaders! Because a lot of adventure hacks end up like that and it ruins the plot and the entertainment. Your plot is amazing and its got good stuff going on!

Using Hypercam to directly record the scene and put it in his hack is stealing. Considering that he made it from scratch, it would be a rip-off.

OK, at first i was offended. I know i don't have a lot of subs, but i thought i would be mentioned. Also, the only mention of me was Ty saying Daniels logo was good. I MADE THAT! Anyway, i am at a crossroads. I started with Pokemon Trainers Unite!, then I re-uploaded CPA, then i re-uploaded RPL. I hope no one thinks I'm ripping off Doryan. I was trying to make it like WPL because i liked it back then. now that I'm a better hacker, i want to make Rock Pokemon Legend LESS like Water Pokemon legend.

um like i know why im not on there i would make a good series but i dont know where to get a hack rom and a unregisteered hyper cammera


yeah it would have a great story line but i like i said i dont know where to get these items

if i could only find a good rom hack i would be able to make an epik pokemon series and good grammar yeah itd be Sora's Pokemon Adventure it be a little like Kingdom hearts but still pokemon

My series is traveling based because that's what I believe Pokemon to be lol. I started my hack because I remember as a little kid playing these games thinking I wish this could happen or I wish I had a chance to go on my own adventure and have things like this take place. That's when I found and hacking and I finally have my chance to make things happen. To be honest my episodes don't get a lot of views and I only have about 40 some odd subs, but I don't care I do it for fun lol

But... you've been hacking for 5 years, and I know that for a fact. You've also had many accounts, but that doesn't make you new to hacking.

Why not make a series based off of your own original ideas, rather than borrowing the ideas from other media? That would be much better.

BTW, VisualBoyAdvance comes with its own recorder, so you don't need Hypercam (unless you're using it to animate certain scenes).

@TheDudyrama: I've known that you have had many accounts, and you have stated that you have been in the community for 5 years. That means you aren't a new hacker.

@RoxasTheKeybladeUser: I assure you that if you make a series that is basically Kingdom Hearts with pokemon, you would receive a bad evaluation.

@steelers4190: You're one of the hackers that I believe doesn't obtain much "publicity," I should say. If I can get around to watching a few episodes of your hack, I will make an evaluation, unless one of the older hackers chooses to, but since this is a new idea in the forums and I've been the only one making evaluations, then it most likely will be me.

- You stole Medieval Plots.
- You admitted to "Being your brother"..
- Your brother is basically you.
- He's "as good as you".(I'm one to talk 'cuz I suck as well but this is just.. '____________')
- Your "Brother" shouldn't have anything to do with you getting better or worse, and His grammar on his youtube is the same as yours.. Soo... Yeah.
