Battling Smarts and Hack Smarts Comparisons

Okay, this has been on my mind for awhile and I figured I'd make a thread about it. I feel if you have the smarts to make a good hack, those same smarts can work for you to be a good battler and vice-versa. I don't really know why, but it works.

I'll give a few examples

IMO the smartest hacker is Sakura and she's always been a very capable battler. She doesn't put much time into battling like someone such as me or Seth, but she's still able to do well to her smarts. I have lost to her before in Standard, granted this is before I started making it to Grand Finals of every tourney, but in a tier neither of us were experienced in (Little Cup) she beat me when we played.

Seth is another example of a smart battler whose battle smarts is shown in their hacks too. Seth has always been smart and he was undisputedly the best battler in the community for a long time (still undisputedly at least top 3 though). Like when Seth knows he needs to step it up, he really does. An example would be when he lost in The Pokemon League taking an unexpected third place, he brought it back winning the next tourney again the week after. This is similar in his hacking. During the NGH tryouts last year, he really stepped it up for his tryout episode which was a lot greater in quality and animation compared to his previous episodes.

Jamal is the last example I can think of a battler with battle smarts comparable to his hacking smarts. Jamal is a very standard battler (team-wise is questionable, he does use mainly OUs, but hasn't used a Weather Team yet to my knowledge) and on-point. He does what works (most of the time) and it's standard. In the later episodes of Jamal's previous series as well as his episode 1 and the intro preview that's been uploaded, Jamal's animations and hacking are pretty solid and standard, which is good. Oh and he raped everyone who entered the Little Cup tourney.

I want to make comparions for me and Ty since we're both currently in the top 3 battlers in the community IMO, but I haven't uploaded an episode since 2011, so I can't really make one as well as Ty having not made an episode yet so... Maybe I'll update this thread later when we get an episode out who knows. XD

Oh and people who battle stupidly also have... Unorthodox hacks (I say unorthodox because some of these people DO make entertaining hacks, even if they're weird. XD)

All I've got to say, is I am wild. I am a pretty bad battler, since I don't come up with strategies, I'd say whenever I come up with strategies, I lose the first set's easily. So I'm better off, without no plan.
