Rules (READ BEFORE POSTING!)
Welcome to PokeHacking Community, a site for Pokemon ROM hackers to interact with each other and have certain topics of discussion. Although we mostly interact through YouTube, MSN, and XAT, having a forum could provide even more to this ever-growing community.
However, there are certain rules that ALL members of the forum need to abide by:
1. NO SPAM: This one speaks for itself. No spam of ANY nature will be tolerated, and will result in a warning, possible infraction, or even a ban.
These include:
- Threads or posts with multiple characters or punctuations.
- Threads that duplicate other, recent threads (within 6 months).
- Re-posting a thread or post that has been closed or deleted, or asking why a thread or post has been closed or deleted. Please direct these questions to an admin or moderator via private message.
- Multiple posts in a row (An exception to this rule is if you are both the creator of the thread and the thread is specifically made to provide updates on certain topics; in that case, you can make multiple posts ONLY when you've already updated).
- Posts that are meant to "bump" threads to the top of the thread listing, especially particularly old or particularly new threads.
2. NO FLAMING/TROLLING: Respect other members. Flaming (insulting, heated arguing with) other members is not allowed. Derogatory comments based on race, religion, sexual orientation, culture, ethnicity, handicap, nationality, or gender will not be tolerated. Physical threats against and repeated harassment of other members is strictly prohibited. If another user is flaming or harassing you, you should not retaliate--instead, report it to a moderator or admin.
Trolling (intentionally instigating trouble or provoking others through outrageous statements) is ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN. This will result in an immediate ban.
3. NO INAPPROPRIATE MATERIAL: Mild swearing is allowed, but threads or posts that spam profanity are entirely prohibited. Pornography and other sexually explicit material is also strictly prohibited. (Sorry, Poyo. )
Additionally, discussion about engaging in drug and/or alcohol use is not allowed, regardless of a user's age or laws in his/her jurisdiction.
4. NO ALTERNATE ACCOUNTS: There are a few exceptions to this rules (for instance, if you forgot your password), but otherwise, you may have only ONE account on the forums. Do not create a new account to get around a ban or other punishment; these punishments will simply be extended or made permanent.
5. USE AN APPROPRIATE AVATAR: Avatars with inappropriate images (as stated above in rule #3) are prohibited. If your avatar violates this rule, a staff member shall contact you about removing it and replacing it with one that is more appropriate. Repeated violations may result in the loss of your custom avatar.
6. MAKE YOUR POSTS CLEAR AND UNDERSTANDABLE: We're not asking you for your grammar to be completely perfect (although I'd prefer it), but try to have a good grasp of the English language.
If you have any more questions that are not covered here, please contact a moderator or admin.
Happy posting!
