PokeMMO - A Pokemon Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game!

To those of you who have played Pokemon Global, you probably already know about its untimely demise. Such great, memorable moments have been made there and it was really a shame that we were unable to play it again...

Could we ever hope to find another great MMORPG for Pokemon...?

The answer is...

YES!!!

PokeMMO is a Pokemon MMORPG that I have discovered today, and although it appears to be relatively new, it's already very good and well-made (not without its glitches, of course).

This RPG is unique in that it runs off of ROMs. Therefore, for all intents and purposes, you'll be doing a normal playthrough of FireRed (only ROM that you can actually use to play, although HGSS ROMs can be used to make your Pokemon follow you)... while seeing everyone else roam about the overworld as well, where you have the option to battle, trade, and all kinds of other features with them.

I hope you all download and play it! It's also a lot more fun to play with friends (I would know from experience from playing Pokemon Online), so try to meet up with me!

When they let public registration be open a game, I'll give this a shot.
