Pokemon Hall of Fame 2012 (5th Gen)

(NOTE: This was only influenced with tournaments starting with The Death of Excadrill and after. Every tournament before that either did not use the Wi-Fi Battle Clause and/or did not ban unreleased Dream World Pokemon. As such, this thread will make no references to tournaments before that.)

This list comprises of our most reputable Pokemon 5th Gen players throughout our many tournaments.

• Poyo:
  The most consistent player within the community, Poyo is always a name to watch out for at tournaments. He has never placed below Top 3 at any point and has defeated everyone he has faced at least once, having no even or losing records. His best record is against Jamal (5-0) and his closest record is against Tim (2-1). Poyo's strongest win was winning the Tournament of Champions, the largest Pokemon tournament within the community to date, defeating such players as Jamal, Ty, Tim, and Seth.
  

• Poyo's Tournament Results:
  The Death of Excadrill: 1st out of 9
  Month of the Delibird: 2nd out of 8
  Revival of Pokemon Online 2: ONE MORE TIME!!!: 1st out of 13
  Revival of Pokemon Online 3: 1st out of 8
  Tournament of Champions: 1st out of 16
  Elite Tournament: 3rd out of 8
  

• Seth:
  2nd only to Poyo in terms of consistency, Seth is one of the most feared players for playing in bracket. Like Poyo, he has never placed below Top 3 at any point and has at least one win against everyone he has ever faced. His best record is against Tim (3-0) and his only losing records are against Poyo (3-7) and Jamal (2-3), Poyo notably being a harder counter for him. Seth's most notable tournament win was at The Month of the Delibird, defeating such players as Ty and Poyo.
  

• Seth's Tournament Results:
  The Death of Excadrill: 3rd out of 9
  Revival of Pokemon Online: The True Test: 2nd out of 9
  Month of the Delibird: 1st out of 8
  Revival of Pokemon Online 2: ONE MORE TIME!!!: 3rd out of 13
  Revival of Pokemon Online 3: 2nd out of 8
  Tournament of Champions: 2nd out of 16
  Elite Tournament: 1st out of 8
  The Pokemon League 2012: 1st out of 13
  

• Ty:
  Although he has not won any tournaments, Ty is considered to be Top 3 within the community, and with good reason. With the exception of one tournament (where he got 7th), Ty has always placed Top 6 at every tournament he entered and has at least one win against everyone he has faced. He is most known for his Hail team and takes particular pride in his Abomasnow. His best records are against Tim and Sakura (2-0 each) and his only losing records are to the 2 people considered to be above him: Poyo (1-5) and Seth (2-6), Poyo being his hardest counter. Ty's most notable placing was getting 2nd at Revival of Pokemon Online 2, defeating such players as Jamal, Tim, and Seth, only losing to Poyo twice.
  

• Ty's Tournament Results:
  The Death of Excadrill: 5th out of 9
  Revival of Pokemon Online: The True Test: 7th out of 9
  Month of the Delibird: 3rd out of 8
  Revival of Pokemon Online 2: ONE MORE TIME!!!: 2nd out of 13

• Jamal:
  Best known as the only tournament organizer within the community, Jamal also has quite a few accomplishments within tournaments as well. Similar to Ty, again with the exception of one tournament (where he got 7th), Jamal has always placed Top 6 at every tournament he has entered. His claim to fame is being the only person in the community (besides Poyo) to hold a winning record against Seth (3-2). Jamal's best record is against Raina (3-0) and his only losing records are Poyo (0-5), Ty (1-2), and Kaitlyn (0-1), Poyo being a particularly hard counter for him. Jamal's most notable feat was winning Revival of Pokemon Online, defeating Ensane, Brandon, and Seth (the former 2 defeating Ty within the same tournament).

EDIT: Real talk, this thread was made pretty well. I personally think Seth's best tournament was Month of the Delibird cause he beat me on a good day (was on a bad day/kinda trolling at Elite Tournament), but TPL2012 is understandable too cause the most entrants, but he didn't beat me (I didn't enter though) nor Ty that day. Either way, good thread.

The lack of Abomasnow in my description is horrifying. Seriously, I've been the only person using it until now, and that tree has helped me so much, he should be mentioned. Abomasnow 2012.

You're probably right (my memory sucks), but I REALLY wanted Daniel to get to battle Jamal so I had no choice, unfortunately Kaitlyn beat Jamal, so that set never happened anyway. ;_;
