Vegas has many mediafire links on YT...Search up Sony Vegas (Pro) (#) and usually you'll find it!

I read a book on how to use Fireworks and Flash can do a lot more when it comes to animation and it looks like that's what I need to use.
Is there something about Vegas that is a must-have?
I really like the animations in Pokemon Intertwined Destinies episodes 49-52 part 2. Would I be able to get the same effect with Flash?
I can zoom in with WMM now, but only up to 15% (smallest amount) and it jumps to 1000%. There are other effects with it, too.

You are not able to get some of the Vegas effects with Flash.

I was in a class that taught me how to use Flash, so trust me when I say that you do need Vegas for certain effects, like the Lens Flare, for example.

I'm pretty sure you can make several of the important items into WMM, but it looks like crap...

CS4? You can Motion Tween with that (you can put an Object on one side of the Stage in Key Frame 1 and put it somewhere else, as long as it's the same Object, on the Stage in Key Frame Two. Flash fills it in for you).

Lens Flare....I'm taking a guess...Since I haven't used it in FOREVAH~ but I think Lens Flare like how do I put it....Flares whatever is on the screen?

I know about the Motion Tween, but it basically can just do what Fireworks does as well for less work.

Did you see Jamal's old opening? Or did you see any hacks that have what appears to be a ray of sunlight that moves across the screen? That is the lens flare.

As for WMML, I've used it before, Vegas still has more effects, most of which are way more helpful than most of the effects any version of Movie Maker has.

I'm not really looking for special effects. I don't know how to animate in-ROM (which I've been told is hard and takes a long time to do) so I'm trying to find an animator. I've read a whole book on how to animate with CS4, and Fireworks only had a very small section that didn't seem to fit what I want to do.

Quite a few hackers have used the effect, though. Surely you can find someone that has used it if you search.

Also, the visual effects are apart of animation as they can help the way they look. Plus, the visual effects help us put in-game text onto the animations, so the visual effects Vegas has are needed. XD

Animation wise, will I be able to use CS4 to get the same animations as in the episodes I mentioned earlier?

And with Sony Vegas, do I really need it for special effects or would I be just fine with creating my own with Flash? (I've seen it done before). All I'm worried about is the zoom like what's in the episodes unless I can figure out how to do that with Flash and WMM.

Unless you think it'd be a good idea to find some hackers on YouTube that use Flash and ask them if they think I can get the same effect.

I used Flash text before on animations, and Flash text only lasts for a certain amount of frames. That means that your viewers will constantly be either pausing the vid to read the text, or they will be fast forwarding it in case you made the text last too long. With in-game text, that is far from being an issue.

Trust me, in-game text > Flash text.

I'm going to be using XSE for the text. Right now I'm having a problem with it -I'm still learning how to use it- but I can find a way around it.
I'm going to be using Flash mainly for the animations that are not in the game.

When I'm talking about the in-game text, I'm not talking about editing it, I'm talking about putting it over the animations.

Flash can't edit the in-game text over the animation, and Flash has shitty text as is.

Vegas (or After Effects if you've got the memory) can put the in-game text over a video clip of the animation.

No matter how good Flash is for animating sprites, it can't add the visual effects that Vegas has onto an animation, and it can't edit the in-game text of a ROM over the animations.

Sorry, but if you want better animations, you're better off getting both Vegas and Flash.

I can work with what I have. My favorite hack series doesn't have text that does that and I want to keep it at that (until I get a lot more experienced, than I can decide if I want the text that way). Although the animations are done in-ROM....


I sadly might be able to get only one (I don't want to get one for free. I feel that it's wrong in a way), which is why I need to know if I can get the desired effect (or at least close to) with Flash.

Flash is NOT video editing software! Just use Sony Vegas.

Flash is specifically for creating animations.

Also... you're really better off using a Keygen to get whatever you need. I understand where you're coming from about it being "wrong", but it's better to not waste your money.

BTW, you're asking way too many questions. One or 2 questions is fine, but there is literally a full page (I.E. Page 4) that almost entirely consists of you and Ty conversing on this matter.
